Sell gift cards that you haven’t used yet
In 2020, it studies revealed that over half of all Americans have unused gift cards which are costing them over $21 billion. Gift cards are a very common gift option and it’s surprising how many people tend to forget about them. If you’ve got some random gift cards lying around, then don’t feel inclined to spend them in store! In fact, if you did that, then you’d actually end up spending more money.
Instead, consider selling them! You can sell Lululemon gift cards, Apple gift cards, and even Best Buy gift cards using various services on the internet. They’ll take the code, confirm that it’s real, then offer you the cash value. It’s a fantastic way to get rid of unwanted gift cards and you might have loads of them laying around.
Identify things that could be considered a collector’s item
There are loads of different things that could be in your house which a collector might want. This is mostly true for things like antiques, some of which can fetch a surprising amount of money. There are also collector’s items such as comics, video games, music CDs, and so on. If you have an old collection of something, then there’s a good chance that someone will want to buy it from you!
But this is where the hard bit comes in; identifying what they’re worth. You could also do a quick Google search if you think it’s worth a lot of money. Just don’t get too excited here because there’s a good chance your items might not be worth much.
